Metallic effect glazes for Raku firing. Can be fired in either an electric or gas kiln.

This glaze is lead free but not considered to be food safe due to the properties of the raw materials contained. Please be aware that the images shown are only a guide, due to the nature of the raku firing process the appearance and colour will greatly vary, this is the nature of Raku.

Powder – Can be used for a variety of application techniques when the correct mixing ratio is used (we recommend 1 part powder: 0.75 part water: 0.5 part medium but can be watered down to the desired consistency).

Brush on -. Apply three coats and let the layers dry in between coats. Stir well.
Fire between 920°C -1050°C for 30 minutes to an hour then take the piece out and drop it into a can (or pit) full of media. When cool place into water.
